Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh human resource practices, person-job fit, dan burnout terhadap kinerja karyawan di Bank Kaltimtara. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh pentingnya pengelolaan sumber daya manusia yang efektif di tengah ekspansi bisnis dan transformasi digital yang dijalankan Bank Kaltimtara, sehingga kesesuaian antara karyawan dengan pekerjaannya serta potensi kelelahan kerja menjadi isu yang relevan untuk dikaji. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan melibatkan karyawan Bank Kaltimtara Kantor Cabang Utama sebagai responden. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan metode regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa human resource practices dan person-job fit masing-masing berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, sedangkan burnout berpengaruh negatif namun tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan praktik pengelolaan sumber daya manusia serta kesesuaian penempatan karyawan dalam mendukung peningkatan kinerja di institusi perbankan.

 

This study aimed to examine the effect of human resource practices, person-job fit, and burnout on employee performance at Bank Kaltimtara. The background of this study was driven by the importance of effective human resource management amid the business expansion and digital transformation undertaken by Bank Kaltimtara, which made the alignment between employees and their jobs, as well as the potential for work exhaustion, relevant issues to explore. This study employed a quantitative approach involving employees of Bank Kaltimtara Main Branch Office as respondents. Sampling was conducted using the simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that human resource practices and person-job fit each had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, while burnout had a negative but insignificant effect on employee performance. These findings emphasized the importance of strengthening human resource management practices and ensuring proper employee placement to support improved performance within banking institutions.
