Manuscript Withdrawal Policy

EMAS: Jurnal Ekonomi, Manajemen dan Bisnis allows manuscript withdrawal under reasonable and legitimate circumstances before the manuscript is formally published.

Withdrawal Request

Authors who wish to withdraw a manuscript must submit a written request to the Editorial Office through the corresponding author. The request should include the manuscript title, submission ID, reason for withdrawal, and confirmation that all authors agree with the withdrawal.

A manuscript is considered officially withdrawn only after the journal provides written confirmation.

Withdrawal During the Editorial or Peer-Review Process

Withdrawal after editorial evaluation or peer review has begun is discouraged because editors and reviewers have already invested time and academic resources in processing the manuscript.

Requests submitted during this stage will be considered by the Editor-in-Chief based on the reason provided and the stage of editorial processing.

Until formal confirmation of withdrawal is received, the manuscript remains under consideration by EMAS and must not be submitted to another journal.

Withdrawal After Acceptance

Withdrawal after acceptance but before publication will only be considered for reasonable and adequately justified circumstances.

Once an article has been formally published, it is no longer handled under the Withdrawal Policy. Any post-publication concerns will be managed according to the journal's Retraction and Correction Policy.

Withdrawal Initiated by the Journal

EMAS may discontinue a manuscript before publication where serious concerns are identified, including plagiarism, duplicate or simultaneous submission, fabricated or falsified data, inappropriate authorship, peer-review manipulation, serious ethical violations, or other breaches of Publication Ethics.

Withdrawal Fee

EMAS does not charge any manuscript withdrawal fee.
