Sphota: Jurnal Linguistik dan Sastra P-ISSN; 2085-8388, E-ISSN; 2580-7358 is an open access scientific journal and Peer-reviewed journal in the language and literature studies.
This journal provides conceptual and research-based articles with various topics on Language and Literature studies. Editors are welcoming articles which encompass the field of Language and Literature written in Indonesian or English Language.
Sphota: Jurnal Linguistik dan Sastra is published by Faculty of Foreign Languages of Universitas Mahasaraswati, Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia. This journal is published twice a year; in March and September.
Since 2025, Sphota: Jurnal Linguistik dan Sastra applies a publication fee of IDR 350,000 (Rupiah) per accepted manuscript. This fee is a one-time payment made by the author and must be settled before the manuscript proceeds to the peer-review process. This fee covers the cost of the editorial process, including manuscript handling, peer review coordination, copyediting, layout, and online publication (including DOI registration, if applicable).
Sphota: Jurnal Linguistik dan Sastra was firstly published in 2009. In 2017, Sphota has also published online as it has e-ISSN.
