Post-Publication Discussion

Jurnal Ilmiah Kurva Teknik (JIKT), managed by the Civil Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Mahasaraswati Denpasar, is committed to supporting an open, constructive, and transparent scientific discussion culture regarding published articles. This policy aims to encourage high-quality academic dialogue, enhance publication reliability, and maintain accuracy in civil engineering research development.

Submission of Scientific Feedback and Criticism: Readers, researchers, or practitioners may submit comments, feedback, or scholarly criticism concerning published articles via the official editorial email ([email protected] or [email protected]). Submissions must be written in professional academic language, supported by logical arguments, and backed by relevant data or scientific references.
Editorial Review: All submitted feedback will be evaluated by the Editorial Team to ensure scholarly relevance, substantive appropriateness, and adherence to academic ethics. The Editorial Board reserves the right to consult expert reviewers or invite the original authors to provide a response.
Author’s Right of Reply: Original authors are given a fair opportunity to provide a professional response or clarification. Author responses must be grounded in scientific evidence and free from personal attacks.
Publication of Scholarly Discussion: If the feedback and author response are deemed to provide significant scientific contribution, the JIKT Editorial Board may publish them as a Letter to the Editor or Scholarly Discussion Comment in an upcoming issue.
Handling of Discovered Errors / Misconduct: If post-publication discussions reveal data errors, calculation mistakes, plagiarism, or research misconduct, the Editorial Team will conduct further verification and take necessary editorial actions, such as issuing a Correction or Retraction.
