Allegation of Research Misconduct

Jurnal Ilmiah Kurva Teknik (JIKT) takes all allegations or suspicions of research misconduct—including plagiarism, data falsification, image manipulation, duplicate publication, and ghost/gift authorship—extremely seriously, in strict adherence to the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

1. Handling Procedure: If misconduct is suspected or alleged either prior to or following publication, the Editorial Board will conduct an internal investigation and formally request a written clarification from the authors involved.
2. Sanctions and Actions: If severe misconduct is proven, the Editorial Board reserves the right to reject the manuscript, issue an official retraction notice for published articles, notify the author’s affiliated institution, and temporarily or permanently ban the authors from submitting future manuscripts to JIKT.
