Abstrak

Sinar UV dapat menyebabkan kerusakan pada kulit, sehingga diperlukan tabir surya dan antioksidan untuk melindunginya. Tabir surya berfungsi dengan cara mengabsorpsi atau memantulkan sinar UV, sementara antioksidan membantu meningkatkan kadar antioksidan dalam jaringan kulit. Biji alpukat memiliki potensi sebagai bahan tabir surya dan antioksidan, di mana ekstrak biji alpukat mengandung catechin yang mampu menghambat enzim tyrosinase, elastase, hyaluronidase, dan kolagenase. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui stabilitas fisik, kimia, serta aktivitas tabir surya dan antioksidan pada krim ekstrak aseton biji alpukat. Tahapan penelitian meliputi skrining fitokimia, penetapan kadar flavonoid total dan aktivitas antioksidan ekstrak, formulasi krim, uji stabilitas fisik dan kimia, serta uji stabilitas aktivitas tabir surya dan antioksidan. Hasil uji menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak positif mengandung flavonoid, tannin, triterpenoid, fenol, dan saponin. Kadar flavonoid total dan IC50 ekstrak berturut-turut sebesar 68,58±0,88 mg QE/100 g dan 7,14 µg/ml. Setelah penyimpanan sediaan selama enam bulan, terjadi perubahan pada warna dan daya sebar krim. Daya sebar menurun signifikan dari 50,87±3,17 menjadi 35,21±2,09 g.cm/detik, kadar flavonoid total mengalami penurunan dari 9,16±0,27 menjadi 4,48±0,16 mg QE/100 g, dan terjadi penurunan signifikan pada aktivitas antioksidan dari 7,41 menjadi 18,72 µg/ml. Selain itu, terdapat peningkatan signifikan nilai SPF dari 1,62±0,01 menjadi 1,87±0,06. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, krim ekstrak aseton biji alpukat dinyatakan tidak stabil secara fisik, kimia, serta dalam aktivitas tabir surya dan antioksidan setelah disimpan selama enam bulan pada suhu ruang. Untuk meningkatkan stabilitas sediaan, diperlukan penambahan penyangga pada suasana asam, penambahan antioksidan seperti asam askorbat, serta penyimpanan pada suhu dingin.
