Abstract
The background of this research is, because the researcher was inspired by the pandemic conditions
that hit the country. This condition is like two currencies. One side is positive, one side is negative.
Educational people who feel directly are teachers and students as well as lecturers and students. One
of the PBM that must be carried out is online PBM. Researchers will register vocabulary related to
online learning and convert it into the form of a meaning field. Field theory of meaning is one of the
theories of semantics. The data that the researcher took was from online media. The method that the
researcher uses in this research is descriptive analysis. The result of this study is that the field of
meaning theory is useful when registering vocabulary. The conclusion of this study shows that the field
of meaning theory can actually register vocabulary in the field of education.
