About the Journal

Jurnal Ilmiah Medicamento abbreviated as JINTO, with the registered e-ISSN 2356-4814, is an open-access scientific journal in the field of pharmacy. Each and every manuscript in this journal is reviewed by two reviewers and conducted through a double-blind peer review system to ensure objectivity and high quality assessment. JINTO has been accredited by ARJUNA with a SINTA 4 ranking from Vol.5 No.1 in 2019 until Vol.9 No.2 in 2023. Starting from Vol.9 No.1 in 2023, the journal has been elevated to a SINTA 2 accreditation, as per the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, Number 177/E/KPT/2024, dated October 15, 2024.

JINTO is published biannually in March and September and aims to disseminate current scientific knowledge to researchers in the pharmacy field. The journal accepts original research articles and review articles encompassing various areas of pharmaceutical science, including Pharmacology and Toxicology; Clinical and Community Pharmacy; Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Analysis; Pharmaceutical Biology and Natural Products; Pharmaceutical Technology; Pharmaceutical Microbiology and Biotechnology; Regulatory Affairs and Pharmacy Marketing Research; and Alternative medicine.

Jurnal Ilmiah Medicamento Volume 11 Issue 2 (September 2025) presents peer-reviewed original research and review articles that emphasize evidence-based advancement in pharmaceutical sciences. The scope of this issue encompasses clinical pharmacy, pharmaceutical technology, biomedical research, and the exploration of natural products for therapeutic applications.

Several contributions address rational medicine use and patient safety, including studies on self-medication practices, evaluation of antibiotic utilization patterns, analysis of antimicrobial resistance, and in-use stability of pharmaceutical preparations in healthcare facilities. These studies support the implementation of good pharmacy practice and antimicrobial stewardship programs.

Research in pharmaceutical technology and natural product development highlights formulation and evaluation of various dosage forms, with assessments of physicochemical quality, stability, and biological activities. Experimental approaches are applied to investigate antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antidiabetic, photoprotective, and other pharmacologically relevant effects.

This issue also includes experimental biomedical studies and bibliometric reviews that map research trends and provide methodological perspectives for future pharmaceutical research. Overall, this edition contributes to strengthening the scientific foundation and research quality in pharmaceutical and health sciences.
