CAMPUR KODE AKTOR DALAM KOMUNIKASI PADA NOVEL HAYYA KARYA HELVY TIANA ROSA & BENNY ARNAS

Abstract

The actors in Hayya’s  novel used code mixing in the communication. The language used in the communication Indonesia into English and vice versa, Indonesia into Arabic and vice versa. The purpose of the study is to explain the form of code mixing used by the actor in the Hayya’s novel in the social interaction. This research is used qualitative with approach study cases. The data in the research are utterances that contain code mixing of the actors in the Hayya’s novel in informal situations. Data collection is used by observation and note-taking techniques. The data analysis in the study used the equivalent method with the relevant sociolinguistics studies. The result of the study explained that the form of code mixing used by the actors in the Hayya’s novel in the social interaction namely internal code mixing and external code mixing
