The response arises as a result of speech from the speaker to the speech partner. This study aimed to find the types of perlocutionary acts that appear in dialogues between waiters/waitresses and consumers in Japanese restaurants located in Badung Regency and Denpasar Municipality. This qualitative research described case studies found in the realm of trading that occurs in Japanese restaurants. The source of research data in the form of dialogue was taken from the observation method with data collection techniques through listening and recording then using the pragmatic equivalent method to analyze perlocutionary speech data and find the context of the situation that followed every activity that occurred among the speech participants. This study found that there was a power of influence in the form of perlocutionary acts containing interrogative sentences in the form of appreciation for consumers, services, greetings, confirmations and asking what is. In addition, declarative sentences contained sentences that state and inform information to consumers and imperative sentences with the aim of ordering and asking consumers to do something. This condition gave an illustration that the context of the situation greatly determines the level of speech and the type of sentences used and pays great attention to hospitality. This was caused by all activities and choices of various languages and language speech levels in the realm of trade in restaurants that highly uphold hospitality.
