UPAYA MENGENTASKAN FENOMENA SOSIAL KEMISKINAN DI ERA REVOLUSI INDUSTRI 4.0

Abstract

Social phenomena can be interpreted as symptoms or events that occur and can be observed in social life. The never-ending economic problems seem to never end. Poverty is a major problem in the economy in Indonesia. Based on the Global Finance website in 2022, Indonesia is the 91st poorest country in the world. Currently, Indonesia has entered the Era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 where the industrial world is experiencing technological advances that have a major impact on industrial activities in Indonesia. With these developments, it can bring big changes that are profitable for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) as economic businesses carried out by the lower middle class to always be productive, so as to reduce the poverty rate in Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to find out the effect of the 4.0 industrial revolution in poverty alleviation efforts in Indonesia. This study uses the library study method (systematic review) with search engines used in literature searches, including Google Scholar with the keywords Poverty Alleviation, Economic Growth and Industrial Revolution 4.0. The resulting articles were selected based on publications published between 2018 and 2022. The results showed that there was the influence of the industrial revolution 4.0 in an effort to reduce the poverty rate in Indonesia by increasing the welfare of MSME actors. The conclusions of this study indicate that the industrial revolution 4.0 has had a major effect on economic growth as an effort to overcome poverty in Indonesia.
