Abstract

A happy, peaceful and prosperous family life ensures maximum growth, enables its members to develop high integrity and stay away from mental and social problems. The family, as the smallest unit of social organization, plays an important role in the physical and mental development and personal growth of a child. When all aspects of family life are fulfilled and functioning, this becomes a fundamental step in preventing what is known as Family Disorganization, which is one of the social problems in society. In this research, the author uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Qualitative descriptive research formulates problems that lead to investigating or describing the social situation under study thoroughly, broadly, and deeply. Family disintegration refers to the breakdown of family life. This occurs for various reasons, such as the death of one of the parents, divorce of the parents, or the absence of a harmonious relationship between parents and children. In the atmosphere and conditions of a stressful household and without a warm relationship between family members, children engage in activities that can lead to unpleasant social problems, such as juvenile delinquency, criminality, and drug abuse. To overcome all these problems, positive steps need to be taken to foster harmonious relationships among family members, such as practicing religious teachings in the family, promoting effective communication, and creating an atmosphere of mutual respect. Through full involvement as married parents, individuals are expected to carry out their roles in accordance with their nature as husband and wife,as father and mother, in the formation of children's character.
