Abstract

This research is about the psychological analysis of the main character Icijou Kei in the drama Unmei Kara Hajimaru Koi using the psychoanalytic theory of holism and humanism by Abraham Maslow. The purpose of this study is to describe the psychology of the character Ichijou Kei in the drama Unmei Kara Hajimaru Koi using Abraham Maslow's psychoanalytic theory of holism and humanism. The analysis technique is focused on the psychology of the characters by analyzing each scene and dialogue of the characters per episode and then classifying the psychological phenomena experienced by the character Ichijou Kei into the hierarchy of needs according to Abraham Maslow. The results of the study show that the character Ichijou Kei is a person who is admired, has a high status, has a firm will and dominates, and is very respectful and loyal to his partner.
