NILAI-NILAI BEHAVIORISME DALAM BELAJAR BAHASA SECARA DARING DI SMP ANGKASA KUTA

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the understanding of Behaviorism in online language learning at SMP Angkasa Kuta. Behaviorism is a notion that changes behavior. Students are said to learn if they have been able to show changes in behavior. Behaviorism is a learning technique that emphasizes oral memorization and learning motivation. This study analyzes more deeply about how behaviourisms is applied in online language learning. This research is analysed using descriptive qualitative methods with the application of the Behaviorism theory from Pavlov cited in (Ormrod & Jeanne, 2008). This research is conducted at SMP Angkasa, Kuta, which used online methods in learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Observation and distribution of questionnaires were carried out to obtain data analysis. The results of the analysis show that the application of behaviourisms is effectively used in online language learning by providing stimuli and rewards. This stimulus and reward can give student enthusiasm for learning in learning languages online.
