PELESTARIAN NILAI LUKISAN WAYANG KAMASAN MELALUI PEMANFAATAN QRC BERBASIS TIKTOK DALAM MEWUJUDKAN GEN Z CERDAS BERKARAKTER

Abstrak

This research aims to explore the preservation of the cultural values embedded in Wayang Kamasan paintings through the utilization of QRC based TikTok in cultivating characterintelligent Gen Z individuals. Additionally, it seeks to understand the response of Gen Z regarding the conservation of Wayang Kamasan painting values using QRC based TikTok. The method employed in this study is descriptive qualitative research. The data and information obtained will be presented in a narrative form. The research findings indicate that preserving the values of Wayang Kamasan paintings through QRC based TikTok as a new innovation requires specific attention. Observations and interviews revealed that the level of understanding among Gen Z regarding Wayang Kamasan paintings is notably low. For instance, they lack comprehension of the meanings and values encapsulated in Wayang Kamasan paintings, are unaware of the stories depicted in these paintings, and some are even unfamiliar with Wayang Kamasan paintings entirely. This presents a concern for researchers in addressing this issue. An innovative solution integrating two technologies, namely Quick Response Codes (QRC) and the TikTok application, shows potential in enhancing Gen Z's understanding of Wayang Kamasan paintings. Feedback from 30 individuals from Gen Z on this matter garnered a 100% positive response, indicating strong agreement with the implementation of this innovation. This aligns with the opinions of Wayang Kamasan painting experts, who strongly support the use of QRC based TikTok as an innovative approach to preserving local culture, particularly Wayang Kamasan paintings
