DEWATA E-TOUR: ICT-BASED (INFORMATION COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY) EDUCATIONAL MEDIA TO CONSERVE LOCAL WISDOM TOWARDS GOLDEN INDONESIA

Abstrak

Indonesia is a country rich in local wisdom. One of them is the island of Bali which known as "Island of the Gods" and "Island of a Thousand Temples". Bali is local wisdom is very strong. Starting from traditions, dance, ceremonies, food, tourist attractions, and more. It became the attraction for people outside of Bali to come and enjoy the beauty of the island of Bali. However, in the era of globalization, the young generation are ignorant to their surrounding cultures.Technology and more modern lifestyles have a negative impact on the existence of national culture, for example the younger generation is starting to abandon socio-cultural values in their lives. In fact, when viewed from the positive side of the globalization era, digital technology can be used as a forum for preserving the diversity of local wisdom and making it easier for people to recognize local wisdom in Indonesia. Seeing these conditions, this study aims to create an innovation by utilizing digital technology as a medium for preserving Indonesian local wisdom, especially the island of Bali. Overall, the researchers named the innovation "Dewata E-Tour". This application is an ICT (Information Communication Technology) based application, which can be accessed via Barcode Scan. Dewata E-Tour contains various features, including Initial View Feature, Home, Learning Feature, Games, Culinary, Travelling, Watching Feature, and About Us. The method used in this research is library research with a quantitative descriptive approach. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires to 50 respondents and literature studies. From 50 respondents, 92% said that the Dewata E-Tour application was an effective application for developing Balinese culture and about 98% of respondents liked the application.
