The rapid development of digital technology in the Society 5.0 era requires museums to adapt in order to remain relevant as centers of education and cultural preservation. Conventional museum exhibitions that are static and passive are considered less effective in attracting the interest of the digital generation. This study aims to develop and analyze a museum based on gamified learning as a digital edutainment model in fostering an adaptive, cultured, and sustainable society in line with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 11. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research object was the Virtual Batur Geopark Museum developed using the Roblox platform as a metaverse-based gamification medium. The research subjects consisted of 50 respondents ranging from children to adolescents in Bangli Regency, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires, expert validation, and SWOT analysis. The results indicate that the gamified learning–based virtual museum received a very high level of need and acceptance from respondents, with the majority of responses categorized as “strongly agree.” Expert validation results show that the developed product falls into the “very feasible” and “highly valid” categories. Furthermore, the SWOT analysis reveals that the virtual museum’s strengths lie in its interactive features and flexible accessibility, while opportunities arise from the limited availability of similar media. However, challenges remain in technical aspects and dependence on internet connectivity. This study concludes that a gamified learning–based museum is effective as a digital edutainment model capable of enhancing public interest, understanding, and cultural awareness, while also supporting the sustainable preservation of cultural heritage in the Society 5.0 era.
