PEMANFAATAN SOSIAL MEDIA MELALUI PLATFORM TIKTOK SEBAGAI UPAYA GENERASI MUDA DALAM PELESTARIAN BUDAYA NASIONAL DI ERA DIGITAL

Abstrak

This research explores TikTok's role in promoting and preserving Indonesian national
culture among young generations. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data was
collected through questionnaires involving respondents from SMA Negeri 2 Bondowoso and
the general public. Findings indicate TikTok's potential in cultural preservation through
creative features like traditional music, duets and thematic hashtags. Youth effectively utilize
the platform to create engaging, relevant content. However, challenges include negative
trends and global cultural dominance hindering preservation efforts. Collaborations with
young creators and optimizing TikTok features can strengthen Indonesia's cultural identity
nationally and internationally.
