Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether financial performance has an effect on stock returns on manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2016-2018. The population in this study is manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016 - 2018. The sampling technique in this study uses a purposive sampling method. The sample used was as many as 139 companies with 417 observations and analysis techniques used multiple linear regression analysis. The analysis shows that Current Ratio (CR) and Return On Assets (ROA) have a positive effect on stock returns, while Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Earning Per Share (EPS) have no effect on stock returns.
