Abstract

Good corporate governance is a procedure for good company management. The principles of good corporate governance must be applied in organizing to reduce agency conflict, besides that the Tri Hita Karana philosophy which has become Balinese culture it self is expected to be able to improve the performance of an institution. The purpose of this study is to reexamine the effect of the principles of good corporate governance and the philosophy of Tri Hita Karana on the performance of Lembaga Perkreditan Desa in Denpasar City. The sample in this study amounted to 35 LPD in Denpasar City. Determination of the sample used is the saturation sample technique. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis that is equipped with descriptive statistics, the classic assumption test and the model feasibility test. The results showed that the Fairness / Fairness variable had a positive influence on the performance of LPDs in Denpasar City, while the variables of transparency, responsibility, accountability, Independence and Tri Hita Karana Philosophy did not affect the performance of LPDs in Denpasar City.
