Pengaruh Mekanisme Corporate Governance Dan Pertumbuhan Perusahaan Terhadap Kinerja Perusahaan Makanan Dan Minuman Yang Terdaftar Di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2014-2018

Company performance is a picture of a company's financial condition during a certain period which is the result or achievement that is influenced by the company's operational activities in utilizing the resources owned. The company's performance will increase if the company is able to implement corporate governance mechanisms and optimize the increase in corporate growth as part of its business strategy. This study was conducted to determine the effect of corporate governance mechanisms and company growth on company performance as measured by return of equity (ROE) on food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2014-2018 period. This study uses a sample of food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2014-2018 period, with a total sample of 13 companies that met the sample criteria determined through the purposive sampling method. After multiplying the length of the study period, which is 5 years, as many as 65 companies were obtained as the research sample. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that: (1) the variable size of the board of directors, the proportion of independent commissioners, and the audit committee had a positive effect on company performance. (2) the company's growth variable does not affect the company's performance
