The theory used in this research is the contextual meaning theory according to Pateda, (2010:116) which states that contextual meaning is contextual meaning or situational meaning. Situational meaning arises as a result of the relationship between utterance and context. The results of this research show that the adjective ookii can be used to indicate big in the sense of: a country, an animal, a building, a room, the size of a piece of clothing and abstract size. Jargon refers to specialized vocabulary used within a particular field, and due to its very specific forms and meanings, it is often not understood by those outside the field. Data was collected from words and texts on Instagram through two accounts: Aiki.Master with 105 thousand followers and Bulungan_aikido with 28.2 thousand followers. A qualitative descriptive method was employed to analyze the collected data and identify specific terms or phrases frequently used by Japanese Aikido practitioners. Data analysis utilized Halligan's (2004) theory of jargon formation and Leech's (1981) theory of meaning. The analysis identified five Aikido jargon terms on Instagram, each with distinct forms and meanings, including both denotative and connotative aspects. The findings illustrate how Aikido jargon is not only formed through training practices but also reflects variations in meaning depending on the context of its use within the Aikido community.
I Made Wahyu Dwi Prananta I Made Wahyu Dwi Prananta Made Henra Dwikarmawan Sudipa Sudipa Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Daruma : Linguistik, Sastra dan Budaya Jepang 2024-11-09 2024-11-09 4 02 37 51 DAMPAK KAROSHI PADA KARYAWAN PERUSAHAAN DI JEPANG DEWASA INI https://e-journal.unmas.ac.id/index.php/daruma/article/view/9763
Japan is a developed country that is famous for its many cultures and traditions that are still developing today. An example of a foreign language song is Japanese. Seventeen, is a K-pop idol who has a successful career in Japan with many achievements. For this reason, an in-depth analysis is needed in order to know the original meaning contained in the lyrics of the song Smile Flower. The analysis used a qualitative method with data collection through the lyrics of the song Smile Flower by Seventeen. The theory used is Riffaterre's Semiotics with a focus on non-continuity of expression through meaning replacement, meaning deviation, and meaning creation. This song has a meaning about universal love. Where, the character "I" is always comfortable by the side of "you" so that they can show all expressions such as happy, and sad without having to worry about separation. Within Shokuiku, there is a school lunch program called Kyuushoku. The role of school lunches in the overall educational system opens a deeper dimension to explore how food education and culture interrelate and shape a unique cultural identity.
