The most widely produced plastic bottles in industry are polyethylene terephthalate plastic bottles. World PET production is used in synthetic fibers, and bottle production accounts for 30% of world demand. This is because of its strong mechanical properties, good resistance to chemicals and solvents. Ironically, environmental damage due to excessive energy exploitation and the current energy scarcity need to be addressed wisely. Energy efficiency needs to be carried out in an effort to minimize environmental damage. The purpose of this research is to determine water efficiency innovations carried out through designing reel jug stabilizers. The research results show that the reel jug stabilizer innovation results in gallon bottles being able to enter the filling chamber in a perpendicular position, so that they are parallel to the feeling water nozzle and become a superior product. It can be said that this innovation does not waste energy, especially water. In the usage range from February to September 2022, water savings of 224 m3 occur with production cost savings of IDR. 25.286.612.
I Putu Wiradi Pradipta, I Ketut Yogi Swarandana Copyright (c) 2023 https://e-journal.unmas.ac.id/index.php/baktisaraswati/article/view/7714 Mon, 30 Oct 2023 00:00:00 +0800 MODIFIKASI JALUR WATER TREATMENT UNTUK MENGURANGI RUTE TANGKI AIR BAKU DARI SUMBER EKSTERNAL https://e-journal.unmas.ac.id/index.php/baktisaraswati/article/view/7715
Emissions released when providing water per volume are calculated to obtain the carbon footprint of water distribution. Water distribution operations from water sources, pumping, storage, distribution, then used by consumers, until it becomes waste water, imposes its own environmental burden. One of the environmental impact hotspots generated at the cradle stage is contributed by CO2 gas emissions produced from tankers transporting water raw materials from external sources. The aim of this research is to determine modifications to the water treatment route to reduce the route of raw water tanks from external sources. The approach method that can be used to identify and analyze environmental impacts is the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) method. The research results show that every 1 m3 of water transported over a distance of 52 km produces 36.7 Kg CO2 eq, while at a distance of 14 km, every 1 m3 of water transported produces 9.87 Kg CO2 eq. There was a reduction in emissions of up to 73% with this route change. The total reduction in emissions from this innovation in the January-June 2023 range is 301 tonnes of CO2 eq, with a cost efficiency value of IDR. 536,014,526/year. The clean water processing process causes the largest environmental impact in the resources category caused by natural gas or electricity use. The smallest environmental impact from water processing activities is in the ecosystem quality category which is caused by aluminum sulfate. Carbon footprint is a measure of the exclusive total amount of carbon dioxide emissions released directly or indirectly caused by an activity or accumulated over the life stages of a product.
Agus Sugianto, I Putu Wiradi Pradipta Copyright (c) 2023 https://e-journal.unmas.ac.id/index.php/baktisaraswati/article/view/7715 Mon, 30 Oct 2023 00:00:00 +0800 INTEGRATED AUTOMATION PUMP SEBAGAI ALTERNATIF PENGHEMATAN ENERGI https://e-journal.unmas.ac.id/index.php/baktisaraswati/article/view/7716
In its implementation, to monitor water discharge to the water treatment section, a flowmeter is used to obtain water discharge results, and an ultrasonic sensor is also added which is connected to the controller which produces height data. Furthermore, water level data, water discharge data and cost rates for water pump motors will be displayed via the website for remote control systems because of the speed of data transmission, efficiency and wide coverage. However, it still needs to be connected to a control device to be able to monitor electrical devices remotely. The research objective is to design an integrated automation pump as an energy saving alternative. The research method using integrated automation pump design using a picobox is power supply circuit design, AC current sensor circuit design, RTC circuit design, and microcontroller circuit design. Based on the research results, based on the results of testing the use of the Lambda Iteration method which is commonly used in economical operations of electric power systems, it turns out that it can also be effectively applied in economical operations using water pump motors. From the results of the calculations that have been carried out, the optimal water pump motor operation scheduling is in the 10th iteration calculation, with the calculation results that the first water pump motor must pump a volume of 59 m3. This scheduling also has an impact on reducing the operating costs of the pump motor which is estimated in one filling cycle to Rp. 6,214,- in one filling cycle. The total energy efficiency of this innovation is 11,880 Kwh/year with cost savings of Rp. 13,068,000. This means that the Lambda Iteration method is able to reduce costs by 34.1%.
Putu Oka Sutrisna, I Ketut Sukaya Copyright (c) 2023 https://e-journal.unmas.ac.id/index.php/baktisaraswati/article/view/7716 Mon, 30 Oct 2023 00:00:00 +0800 NETWORK COMBINATION LOW PRESS DAN HIGH PRESS DALAM UPAYA MENGURANGI TIMBULAN LB3 OLI https://e-journal.unmas.ac.id/index.php/baktisaraswati/article/view/7717
The rapid development of various industries means that the impact of these industrial activities can be inversely proportional to environmental conditions, including increasing pollution and increasing accumulation of hazardous and toxic waste (LB3). B3 waste, used oils, can be used as a substitute energy source while still considering the availability of technology and environmental quality standards so as not to cause air pollution. Used oil waste is produced from utility machines supporting compressor production. The aim of this research is network combination low press and high press in an effort to reduce the generation of LB3. The research method uses triangulation techniques by collecting different data to obtain data from the same source. Based on the results of this research, modify the PID network combination between low press and high press compressors by utilizing the remaining air from the high press compressor to supply the low press line, so that it can eliminate low press compressor units with a capacity of 90 KW where oil usage is quite high, so that it is enough to activate the unit Low press compressor with a capacity of 55 Kw. By activating only 1 low press compressor unit with a capacity of 55 Kw, it indirectly reduces the need for lubricating oil for the compressor. This also ultimately has an impact on reducing the generation of used oil B3 waste.

I Ketut Sukaya, Agus Sugianto Copyright (c) 2023 https://e-journal.unmas.ac.id/index.php/baktisaraswati/article/view/7717 Mon, 30 Oct 2023 00:00:00 +0800 PERANCANGAN FOTO PREFORM REJECTOR DALAM UPAYA MENGATASI LIMBAH NON-B3 https://e-journal.unmas.ac.id/index.php/baktisaraswati/article/view/7718
The need to use plastic as packaging material for food and beverages still has great opportunities. In the process of making packaging bottles, a machine called blow molding is required. The aim of this research is to design photo rejector preforms for injection blowing tools installed on blow molding machines that must have high strength so that they are able to support the load of the injection tools and mold cavity in an effort to deal with non-b3 waste. The research method uses the Six Sigma method to reduce defects based on the RPN (Risk Priority Number) value. Based on the research results, there are several types of defects that occur in the 2000 ml ASB blow molding machine, namely: runner defects, preform defects, and bottle defects. The 2000 ml defective bottle has the three highest causes of defects, namely: the absence of standards for machine startup with an RPN value of 448, components exceeding the useful life limit with an RPN of 378, and the absence of machine checking standards with an RPN of 336. The total production cost is more efficient at IDR 8.700.000. Thus, the total reduction in non-B3 waste from this innovation in 2022 will be 1.94 tons. This can reduce environmental damage significantly.
I Ketut Yogi Swarananda, Putu Oka Sutrisna Copyright (c) 2023 https://e-journal.unmas.ac.id/index.php/baktisaraswati/article/view/7718 Mon, 30 Oct 2023 00:00:00 +0800 IMPLEMENTASI PERANAN SEKRETARIS DALAM MEWUJUDKAN EFISIENSI KERJA PADA DINAS PENANAMAN MODAL DAN PELAYANAN TERPADU SATU PINTU (DPMPTSP) PEMERINTAHAN KABUPATEN BADUNG https://e-journal.unmas.ac.id/index.php/baktisaraswati/article/view/7720
In the current era of globalization, leaders in various agencies, both government and private sectors, are faced with challenges and fierce competition.
