SYSTEMATIC LITERATUR REVIEW: METODE SCHEMA-BASED INSTRUCTION (SBI) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA SISWA

Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika adalah salah satu dari tujuan pembelajaran matematika. Kemampuan ini diajarkan kepada siswa Taman Kanak-kanak hingga perguruan tinggi. Di Indonesia, kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa masih rendah. Siswa kesulitan mengerjakan soal pemecahan masalah dalam bentuk soal non rutin. Meraka kesulitan menghubungkan informasi pada soal yang mengarahkan kepada proses penyelesaian masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis metode Schema-Based Instruction (SBI) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pengumpulan data tinjauan pustaka dengan menelaah dan menggali informasi dari artikel. Salah satu strategi penyelesaian masalah adalah membuat gambar atau skema. Berdasarkan hasil tinjauan pustaka yang telah dikaji oleh peneliti ditemukan bahwa metode SBI dapat diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Metode SBI membantu siswa memvisualisasikan informasi pada soal ke dalam skema sehingga siswa dapat memahami masalah. Setelah siswa memahami masalah, mereka dapat merencanakan strategi penyelesaian masalah. Metode SBI dapat menjadi salah satu referensi metode pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan oleh guru dalam pembelajaran matematika di kelas.
