Abstract

 

ABSTRACT

 

Differential discusses the change in the dependent variable due to changes in the independent variable, where the change in the independent variable is classified as a very small change. Differential is used as a tool to solve various problems in geometry and mechanics. This study aims to determine the recapitulation and quality of the development of digital high school mathematics teaching materials based on STEM literacy on differential materials. The research and development procedure uses the Plomp model which includes five stages, namely initial investigation, design, realization/construction, as well as testing, evaluation and revision and implementation. Sources of data in this study are validators, mathematics teachers and students of SMA Negeri 8 Denpasar. The data collection technique used a validation questionnaire for validation tests, practicality questionnaires for practicality tests and tests for testing the effectiveness of digital teaching materials. The results of the initial validity test were declared valid with a value of validity on the content aspect of 0.75, the validity of the presentation aspect of 0.89; language validity 0.91; and media validity 0.92. The results of the second stage of the validity test were declared valid, with a validity value of 0.90. The results of the practicality test on students obtained results of 76.5 and 77.5 for teachers including the practical category, and the results obtained by students on the evaluation had an average of 83.25. So digital high school mathematics teaching materials based on STEM literacy are effective for use in learning at school.

ABSTRAK

 

Differensial memabahas adanya perubahan variabel terikat akibat perubahan variabel bebasnya, dimana perubahan variabel bebas tersebut tergolong perubahan yang sangat kecil. Differensial dipakai sebagai suatu alat untuk menyelesaikan berbagai masalah dalam geometri dan mekanika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui rekapitulasi dan kualitas pengembangan bahan ajar matematika SMA digital berbasis literasi STEM pada materi differensial. Prosedur penelitian dan pengembangan menggunakan model Plomp yang meliputi lima tahapan, yaitu investigasi awal, desain, realisasi/konstruksi, serta tes, evaluasi dan revisi serta implementasi. Sumber data dalam penelitian adalah validator, guru matematika dan siswa SMA Negeri 8 Denpasar. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket validasi untuk uji validasi, angket kepraktisan untuk uji kepraktisan dan test untuk uji efektivitas bahan ajar digital. Hasil uji validitas tahap awal dinyatakan valid dengan nilai validitas pada aspek isi 0,75, validitas pada aspek penyajian 0,89; validitas bahasa 0,91; dan validitas media 0,92. Hasil uji validitas tahap kedua yang hasilnya dinyatakan valid, dengan nilai validitas 0,90. Hasil uji kepraktisan pada siswa diperoleh hasil sebesar 76,5 dan pada guru sebesar 77,5 termasuk kategori praktis, dan hasil yang diperoleh siswa pada evaluasi memiliki rata-rata 83,25. Jadi bahan ajar matematika SMA digital berbasis literasi STEM adalah efektif untuk digunakan pada pembelajaran di sekolah.
