Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing good corporate governance (GCG) and corporate social responsibility (CSR) on company performance in manufacturing companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. GCG in this study is proxied by managerial ownership, institutional ownership, an independent board of commissioners, and an audit committee. The company's performance is proxied by Return on Equity (ROE). The location of this research is in manufacturing companies in the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2016-2018 with 55 research samples obtained using the purposive sampling method. The results showed that the variable managerial ownership, institutional ownership, independent board of commissioners, and audit committee had no effect on company performance, while corporate social responsibility had a positive effect on company performance
