Abstract

Good Corporate Governance (GCG) is a corporate governance system that functions as a control tool to regulate the structure and mechanisms within the company so as to improve company efficiency and performance. Proxies used in measuring GCG are GCG principles consisting of transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence and fairness. The number of samples used was 145 respondents taken from each LPD located in Rendang District, Karangasem Regency. The types of data used in this study are quantitative and qualitative data. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS. Data sources used in this study are primary and secondary data. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it is known that the principles of Good Corporate Governance: transparency has no effect on LPD performance while accountability, responsibility, independence, and reasonableness have a positive effect on LPD performance.
