Abstract

Ethical perception is the attitude of assessing a situation or violation that occurred. This study aims to determine the effect of love of money and machiavellian on the ethical perceptions of accounting students. Samples were taken by using purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 85 accounting students in 2015, Mahasaraswati University, Denpasar. This research uses quantitative methods. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study showed that the machiavellian variable had a negative effect on the ethical perception of accounting students with a significance value of 0.029. And the love of money variable does not affect the ethical perceptions of accounting students with a significance value of 0.750
