Abstract

There are concerns and findings regarding problems related to the formalization of system development, technical skills, task complexity, and internal control systems in an effort to improve AIS performance at LPDs in Mengwi District. This study aims to test and analyze the effect of formalization of system development, technical skills, task complexity, and internal control systems on AIS performance at LPDs in Mengwi District. The population in this study was all Village Credit Institutions (LPDs) in Mengwi District. Sampling was carried out by taking samples from the population based on criteria, namely LPDs registered in Mengwi District and LPDs that use AIS. The analytical method used to test the hypothesis is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that formalization of system development has a positive and significant effect on the performance of accounting information systems (AIS) at LPDs in Mengwi District. Technical skills have a positive and significant effect on the performance of accounting information systems (AIS) at LPDs in Mengwi District. Task complexity has a positive and significant effect on the performance of accounting information systems (AIS) at LPDs in Mengwi District. The internal control system has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the accounting information system (AIS) at LPD in Mengwi District.
